Wear and Tear, along with everyday life, can take a toll on your jewelry. While repairs shouldn't be a constant concern, fine jewelry does require regular maintenance - just like your car! To keep your pieces in top condition, we recommend having them cleaned and the stones checked at least once a year. Stop in anytime, and we'll restore their sparkle at no charge while you wait. We take pride in helping you preserve the special feeling you had when you first put on your jewelry, which is why we include a three-year care plan on all fine gold pieces over $400, ensuring they stay beautiful for years to come.

We also offer lifetime care plans for purchase, providing even more protection. And don't forget - major jewelry purchases should always be appraised and added to your homeowner's insurance for peace of mind.

While some jewelry purchases are just for fun and fashion, significant purchases should last a long time, even into the next generation. Jewelry should mean "Smiles, Love and Memories."

Showcase Items

All showcase items of $50 or more carry a warranty for 12 months from the time of purchase. This warranty covers all manufacturer defects in material or workmanship. Merchandise will not be guaranteed if it's been abused or worn for activities outside the norm. A few examples could include - dropping it down a garbage disposal, running it over with a car, or doing arduous activities like rock climbing, weightlifting and working out.

For more expensive purchases a 3-year care plan is included. We also offer lifetime care plans for purchase. All major purchases should be appraised and added to your homeowner's insurance.

Returns

We will exchange or offer in-store credit for any item that was sold by us from our showcases within 30 days of delivery as long as it has not been altered from its original condition.

*Estate items as they are sold "As-is" and are marked as such upon delivery of the receipt, because of this they are excluded from warranty or return.

Custom Ordered Styles

An item specially ordered for you normally cannot be refunded. If the vendor where we sourced the item from will accept the item back from us for credit, then we can issue an in store credit to our customer. This must be done within 14 days of the delivery date.

One of a Kind Custom Pieces

These pieces are one of a kind and made-to order. Often with customer gold and family stones. As such, at each step customer approval and sign off is required.

There is a non-refundable $200 CAD fee for this type of design. (Of course, this fee is applied to the full price once the go-ahead is given.) There are no refunds, or credit returns for One of a Kind pieces.

We guarantee repairs for 1 year from the date of delivery unless otherwise notated.

General Repairs

That the area / parts we repaired will not break at the spot in which we worked. (Example: we weld a chain 4” from the clasp end and it breaks in a new spot. That is a new repair.)

Ring Sizing

If we size the customer's actual finger and the size is incorrect, we will resize the customer's ring at NO CHARGE for up to 30 days from the date of delivery. (Has to be the same finger!) If we did not get to size the customer’s actual finger in person, we cannot warranty the sizing, and an additional sizing fee will be charged if the customer wants the ring resized. This guarantee also does NOT apply if the customer’s ring is sized to a size the customer requests.

(Example: we suggest it should be a size 5 and the customer requests a size 6.)

We then record that the size is "Per customer request". In this case if the customer wants the ring resized it will be a separate new charge.

** Our extra fee charged to check & tighten stones will warranty against stone loss for that particular repair for one year. Without the extra charge for checking & tightening stones, we do not warranty the stones against loss. If the customer declines stone checking, we will record that on the job order – "No guarantee on stone loss, customer declined to have stones checked & tightened".

Watch Repairs

Watch repairs are guaranteed for 12 months on our work only. (Example - new crystal is put on and the movement stops. That is a new repair.)

Disclaimers

* We cannot be responsible for further fracture or damage to stones that are received from the customer already damaged, chipped, broken, or with large inclusions or imperfections. We will inform the customer of these items before proceeding with repair work and will only do the repair "At customers' risk."

* All repairs done on Opals, Emeralds and Tanzanite's are "At customers risk."

* We cannot guarantee that a diamond or gemstone once taken out of our store will not chip, break, scratch or fracture. No stone, including diamonds, can be guaranteed this way. That is what insurance is for.

* We do not assume responsibility of the loss of any diamond or expensive colored stone above ½ carat once the repair is delivered. Customers should have this jewelry appraised and covered by a jewelry rider with their homeowners/renter's insurance.
